Engagement Session on Bathtub Beach in Stuart, FL

When Maggie first reached out to me to photograph her wedding at The Royal Crest Room in St. Cloud, she also had a special request for the complimentary engagement session included in her wedding photography package. She and her sweetheart wanted to have their session on Bathtub Beach in Stuart, FL in honor of Robert's father who had passed away. It seems Robert's dad used to take him fishing there when he was little and the place held sweet memories. I was completely onboard for the adventure!

Maggie and Robert's late afternoon engagement session on Bathtub Beach near the House of Refuge in Stuart, FL was nothing short of magical. The wind was blowing just right and oh my gracious, there was the warmest golden light bouncing all around.

What is Bathtub Beach known for?

Bathtub Beach is known for its crystal clear aquamarine waters and beautiful dark sandy shoreline, making it the perfect location for a beach engagement session. The House of Refuge, located just steps away from the beach, added a unique and historical touch to the photos.

Maggie and Robert started their session with a walk along the shore, hand in hand and smiling from ear to ear. The beach is so different from other beaches in Florida because of the unique limestone formations that are found all along the shoreline. Those sweet formations made for some epicly gorgeous engagement photos! As they continued their walk down the beach, they came across the House of Refuge and decided to explore the grounds. The historic building, built in 1875, provided a stunning backdrop for their photos. The old stone walls and wooden doors added a touch of rustic charm, while the colorful flowers and lush greenery added a pop of color.

Next, we made our way back to the beach for some more romantic shots. The golden light of the setting sun was absolutely breathtaking, casting a warm glow on their faces and creating a truly romantic atmosphere. Maggie and Robert cuddled close, their love and connection shining through in each and every photo. They laughed and kissed, their happiness and excitement for their upcoming nuptials palpable.

Maggie and Robert's late afternoon engagement session on Bathtub Beach near the House of Refuge in Stuart, FL was a true celebration of their love. The stunning location and beautiful light created the perfect setting for them to capture their love on camera. So very excited to photograph their upcoming wedding at The Royal Crest. Can't wait to see all the magic they create together!
